Storm
and Flood
When
floods, storms, and other water emergencies strike, the key to
mitigating losses lies in the speed and efficiency of your response.
Water must be quickly extracted, buildings and contents immediately
dried and dehumidified, and contaminated items sanitized from
their exposure to sewage and other water-borne toxins. As little
as two days delay and/or inadequate support from contractors
without our specialized equipment and processes can foster the
onset of dangerous mold, mildew, and bacteria. This additional
damage will greatly multiply the cost and extent of your restoration
claim, assuming you are insured for secondary mold damage at
all seeing as a lot of insurers contribute mold and mildew to “neglect.”
DRS is an expert at mitigating water/moisture damage to buildings,
documents, computers, equipment and industrial machinery, as well
as your furniture, carpet, art and other cherished family heirlooms.
We move quickly to cover, board up and repair property damage to
eliminate further exposure to the elements. Then, as a certified
and licensed microbial remediation contractor, our approach to the
drying and dehumidification of buildings and contents goes to great
lengths to thoroughly clean, sanitize and mitigate the onset of secondary
mold and mildew. In the unfortunate event that mold growth is already
present, our hi-tech containment and cleaning processes eliminate
the risk of exposure and the further spread of airborne mold spores.
Our projects are never complete until appropriate humidity levels
are sustained throughout your structure, anti-microbial solutions
have been applied, and an independent Certified Industrial Hygienist
of your choosing has tested and declared the property free of contaminants.
With local contractors often unskilled in these areas, unfamiliar
with managing insurance-related claims and/or overwhelmed following
a major storm or hurricane, we encourage you to pre-certify Disaster
Restoration Solutions, Inc. and our National Catastrophe Response
Team as one of your restoration contractors-of-record before
disaster strikes. Call today to reserve your free copy of our Corporate
