Our disaster response teams consist of our own internal staff of emergency service technicians, water and microbial remediation specialists, and miscellaneous tradesmen. As a licensed general contractor in multiple states, our reconstruction projects are managed by a seasoned team of construction/restoration project executives who provide direct oversight and control of our own crews and subcontractors. All DRS subcontractors submit to a rigorous certification process and continue support to our projects only when demonstrating quality work on an ongoing and consistent basis. DRS is also a member of a National network of Disaster Restoration Companies and maintains close relationships with numerous sister organizations who subscribe to the DRS ethic of workmanship. After so many years in this business, we at DRS have become adept not only at the technical aspects of our projects but in helping you, our customer, understand and negotiate the stressful process of assessing the full extent of damage, dealing effectively with your insurer, and getting your life and business back to normal as quickly as possible. This starts from the time we assume possession of the property from first responders (i.e., fire, police, emergency response crews) and continues as we secure and contain the premises, negotiate the full scope of work with your insurer and ensure that your best interests are thoroughly addressed.

As a seasoned insurance restoration contractor, our estimators employ the insurance industry’s standard estimating software and the authorized pricing databases issued by all the major insurers. We then manage our jobs using the industry’s standard project management software which allows insurance adjusters to log in and monitor our progress on each job, access site pictures and other documentation, and speed work authorization and payment. This tight integration with the insurance adjusting community allows us to ensure that your restoration is approved quickly and receives all the support to which you are entitled. It also positions us to negotiate aggressively on your behalf, and in the insurance adjuster’s own language, as additional or unique requirements arise.
